Georgia State Board of Accountancy
The Georgia State Board of Accountancy regulates professional licensure of Certified Public Accountants and Public Accounting Firms in Georgia.
Office
Effective July 1, 2014, the Georgia State Board of Accountancy (GSBA) was transitioned from operating as a licensing board within the Secretary of State’s Professional Licensing Board (PLB) Division to operating as an attached agency of the State Accounting Office (SAO). The GSBA office is now located in Atlanta and shares space within the SAO government offices.
